PART# 1250 Riser Block

The Riser Block Kit is used to raise the the headstock on the bed. The Block raises the spindle center one inch higher above the lathe bed, thereby allowing a six inch swing to be obtained. The Tool post is also raised one inch so that the tool bit remains on center with the spindle

PART# 1190 Steady Rest

The Steady Rest is used to support long work pieces that extend out from the spindle. The support is needed so that the cutting tool does not deflect the work piece as the carriage is traversed away from the spindle.

           PART# 1225 Milling Vise ($27.80)

Milling Vise, 2 1/8 inch opening by 2 inches wide. The Milling Vise is used to hold the work piece. It has a stationary Jaw and a moveable jaw that holds the work piece against the stationary jaw. The Vise has steel jaws that attach to the stationary and moveable jaws. The vise provides a quick and easy way to hold something.
